FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Why Should I Hire eTicketAttorney? - You Hire eTicketAttorney because your time is valuable and you don't want to waste the morning sitting around a Courtroom just to pay ticket.  Also, eTicketAttorney can generally get the ticket reduced so it does not appear on your driving history.  If it appears on your driving history, that may lead to points and possible insurance increases.

Exactly how does this Work? - You Hire eTicketAttorney (either over the web or through the mail) and eTicketAttorney goes to Court for you.  eTicketAttorney then attempts to negotiate a “Plea Bargain” (deal) for you.  This deal is generally a reduction in the charge or speed so that it does not appear on your driving history.  If eTicketAttorney cannot get the charge reduced so it does not appear on your driving history, then eTicketAttorney will contact you.  Once your case is completed, eTicketAttorney sends you (email or snail mail) the results (disposition) with a copy of the receipt.

I Want to Fight this Ticket! - eTicketAttorney will be more than happy to represent you in this matter.  eTicketAttorney has years of experience in traffic court, both negotiating deals and trying cases and if you want a trial, we will be glad to assist you in that trial.  Please review “The eTicketAttorney’s Fees” page for eTicketAttorney’s fees, “The Court Process” page for background information and call eTicketAttorney to discuss this matter.

Do I Still Have to Pay the Fine if I Hire eTicketAttorney? - Yes, eTicketAttorney’s fee is for its service for you, the fine is in addition to eTicketAttorney’s fee.

This is Just a Traffic Ticket, Don't They Have Better Things to do than to Persecute Me?  - No.  In Cobb County, as in most counties, they have a whole system built into place just to prosecute traffic tickets.

Do I Have to Give My Credit Card Information over this Website? - No, you can Hire eTicketAttorney without using your credit card.  Please click on "No Credit Card" on the left and follow those instructions.

Do I have to Go to Court? - If you Hire eTicketAttorney you do not have to go to Court, unless you have unique circumstances.  If you have unique circumstances, eTicketAttorney’s office will notify you.  If you don't Hire eTicketAttorney, then you must go to Court.

Can't I Negotiate the Same Deal that eTicketAttorney Does? - You might be able to, but you will have to go to Court to do that.

Can't I Call or Email the Prosecutor? - The Prosecutor probably will not return you call or email due to the volume of tickets.  This volume of tickets prevents him/her from reviewing your case ahead of time and, since he/she will probably not look at your ticket prior to day you go to Court, he/she will look at your case for the first time day of Court.

I like to know what’s going on at all times or I’m a very nervous person. – Most likely the only communication you will receive from eTicketAttorney will be the initial acknowledgement of your case and disposition report after your case is over.  If you have unique circumstances or there are problems, eTicketAttorney will then contact you.  Since eTicketAttorney relies on high volume of cases, we will not be able to respond to all inquiries or to give you “status of your case”.  If this is not acceptable to you, then eTicketAttorney may not be able to satisfy your needs.
