Basic Fee - What does the Basic Fee cover?
- It covers eTicketAttorney going to Court for you, on the day you tell us is your Court Date, negotiating a resolution with the Solicitor.
- It covers eTicketAttorney paying the fine money you deposited with us.
- eTicketAttorney then sends you the Court Receipt showing that the fine was paid with a report of resolution of your ticket.
- If there are no problems in your case, this is all you'll pay (plus the fine).
FollowUp Fees occur when eTicketAttorney has to go back to Court on your case. Why would eTicketAttorney have to go back to Court on your case? Well, here's a few reasons:
- You gave eTicketAttorney the wrong Court Date;
- You didn't send eTicketAttorney the "Plea in Absentia" when needed or in time;
- You didn't charge enough on the Fine;
- Due to your circumstances, such as you have a bad driving history, there was an accident, excessive rate of speed and so forth, you have "Special Conditions" to get your ticket reduced. These Special Conditions could include community service, taking a "Defensive Driving Course" or "Risk Reduction Course" and so forth.
- You need certain documents in order to reduce your ticket, such as proof of insurance, proof that the damage to the other vehicle has been paid, driver's license reinstated, tag paid for and so forth.
Should any of these events occur, eTicketAttorney’s Office will notify you and what is required of you.
